City Clerk

The office of the City Clerk has many important responsibilities which include:

  • Preparing the agenda and taking minutes for all Board of Aldermen meetings as well as all other committee meetings
  • Keeping all records and papers belonging to the City and facilitating Sunshine Law and records requests
  • Administering official oaths to elected or appointed officials
  • Maintaining cemetery records and preparing Deeds
  • Processing Business Licenses
  • In charge of human resources and payroll duties for City Staff
