The Street Maintenance Department provides maintenance for surfaced streets and alleys, City owned right-of-way, property and City owned buildings and structures. It is staffed with five full time maintenance personnel.
In addition to roadway maintenance the Department is responsible for mowing and maintenance of the City Parks, Cemetery, City Hall, and other City owned buildings, structures, and properties.
Personnel are on duty Monday through Friday, 7:30 am till 4 pm, with an "On Call" employee available after hours, weekends and holidays. You can reach the Street Department by calling either City Hall at 417-468-2310 or calling 417-859-7183.
